Helga takes out an old dusty book and lays it before you.

Note: As new seasons and world events are added to the game this tome should get bigger.

The Observation of Cyclus

Every two months the people of Wyrmdoor celebrate the cycles of the planet by meditating on the natural flow of life. The proper greeting during the Observation of Cyclus is "fair Cyclus" to note the fairness in the balance of the natural world.

Note: The Observation of Cyclus is a special event that happens every 30 (in the real world) days after a particular Wyvern game has been created. So, multiple Wyvern games can observe Cyclus at different times. Because of this, Cyclus can also fall on other seasonal events and, if it does, the event bonuses will stack.

Event Bonuses:Increased daily forest fights, fishing and increased gold and experience drops from forest fights.

The Turn of the Page

As one year ends and another begins, the town of Wyrmdoor celebrates The Turn of the Page. As the years transition, so do the chapters of our lives, from one chapter to the next. This is a reminder that any grudges we carry are too heavy a burden, and in the next year we should forgive others and ourselves for past transgressions, and always look for ways to better ourselves. A hopeful and reflective mood fills the air.

Note: The The Turn of the Page event is observed from December 31st - January 2nd.

The Fall of the Forgotten

The Fall of the Forgotten is observed during the time of year scholars agree is the likely end of the Old World, when many nightmarish horrors were unleashed, including the Wyvern itself. In all the writings that have been found from the Old World, none of them go past this date. Unfortunately, not much is known about The Forgotten who lived in the Old World, but if we continue searching for information, perhaps we can find something to help us in our struggle. Townsfolk mention the Tome of Lore in Tarbreth's Hall of Honor as a great place to start our research.

Note: The The Fall of the Forgotten event is observed from March 20th - March 23rd.

Event Bonuses: Increased daily forest fights, fishing and forest gold and experience gain

The Great Egg Hunt

Not much is known about how this tradition started, but even texts found from the Old World describe a tradition of hiding eggs every Spring. Perhaps it's the mystery that makes the absurdity so fun, but the townsfolk of Wyrmdoor really get into the festivities. The townsfolk paint hundreds of eggs, and make even more ornamental eggs, in the days leading up to The Great Egg Hunt. Every year, a select few are chosen in secret to hide the eggs, and these lucky few wake up long before sunrise to hide the eggs and get ready for the hunt.

Note: The The Great Egg Hunt event is observed from April 11th - April 13th.

Event Bonuses: Increased daily forest fights, fishing and forest gold and experience gain.

The Wyrmdoor Jubilee

Every year, the townsfolk of Wyrmdoor celebrate the founding of the town with The Wyrmdoor Jubilee! At one time, it was a tradition for children to don masks of their favorite forest monsters. Over time, the adults saw how fun it could be, and now it's rare to find someone without a mask. The jubilee sets up in the event area in town and offers fun games to play for prizes.
