Cheerful Patron: GregoPeck (over 3 years ago): "I might have touched 14.4, but I think ended up w/ 56k AOL dial-up and then to DSL. Eventually, might upgrade to fiber."
Ghost Friend: Golok (over 3 years ago): "I had a 2400 and at some point someone was nice and gave us an external 14.4 which we used exclusively until 56k softmodems were the rage and then it was all AOL dialup until Netzero."
Cheerful Patron: GregoPeck (over 3 years ago): "I think I started out w/ 300 or so and went slowly upwards (1200, 2400, etc.). I remember when AOL had 28k and I still didn't have a modem that fast."
Ghost Friend: Golok (over 3 years ago): "Yeah, that was a pretty slow experience. My first was a 2400 which was a lot faster for sure."
